Featuring 50A of advanced charging technology, this DC-to-DC charger keeps your start and secondary batteries charged using power from your vehicle’s alternator or solar. The BCDC Alpha’s built in Green Power Priority™ will prioritise solar input, minimising the load on your alternator and saving fuel.
When paired with the included Smart Battery Monitor, the BCDC Alpha50 R can distinguish between current sent to your battery and to the loads in your system.
If the Charge Current is set below maximum, the charger taps into this unused current to supply your system’s loads directly, minimising reliance on your battery. The result? Less demand on your battery and an extended lifespan for worry-free adventures.
