Compatibility & Installation
This model charges a 12V auxiliary battery. Its 12V/24V compatibility refers to the vehicle input supply, not the voltage of the battery being charged.
Before choosing the 40A model, check your battery’s maximum charging current, the available vehicle supply and the capacity of your wiring. Battery capacity alone does not determine charger suitability.
The ignition wire must be connected for smart alternator installations. Hybrid vehicle compatibility depends on the vehicle’s electrical supply limits and should be checked before installation.
Suitable wiring, fuses and battery connections are required in addition to the pre-wired connectors. Additional installation components are sold separately. Follow the user manual for mounting, cable selection and solar connection requirements.
